This screen is superb, unfortunately I'll have to change my graphic card, because it is not compatible with the display resolution of the screen. So check well before you buy that your graphics card has enough potato otherwise you'll be stuck on the display to 1920x1080p. This is the second screen samsung I bought, it serves me as second monitor for my computer etaprès 1 month of use I am still very happy. Indeed just like my first screen (a samsung syncmaster S24B350) the quality of the image is perfect, I use it to play, watch movies, I love the option game mode which is very convenient. The interface to adjust the screen is clear, there are a lot of options proposed as to put a monitor, change the size of the image, its quality.... My only regret is the lack of connections, there is only a HDMI and VGA there is no DVI jack whichis still quite common. At the level of the item and the packaging it is perfect as usual. Excellent quality due to its price, recommend. Ideal for the home office, as well as for watching movies. The product come with a VGA cable, it is necessary to think has to buy a HDMI cable (5 Euro). Not full screen so. Then I decided to change the HDMI connection to the DVI. And there's nothing more to see. The quality is there. Graphics purposes, deep blacks. Full-screen total (no more black borders), fonts clear. The foot is fixed. I decided to replace it with the one above, smaller and less expensive but with a TFT panels and a foot basic compared to the Acer. I was expecting some disappointment... not at all! If the slab is actually lower with viewing angles less generous and blacks not truly black, it is light, normally reflective for a screen of this type and solid as it should be for a touch screen. The viewing angles are not bad at all, compared to the TFT panels of the past. The or this becomes interesting, VS the Acer, is that the functionality is really superior, not only due to the more reasonable size:For a start, the foot, monstrous and brutal on the Acer here is discreet and functional. It adds nothing to the total weight and is almost invisible in suspension and VESA mount. On the Acer, it is necessary to remove it. Then the Vesa plate is centered, which allows for an easy-to-use (and therefore current) in the portrait mode, fabulous in the office and even in web browsing, with all these pages optimized for tablet. The plate offset of the Acer eliminates directly for this feature. Where the Acer offers a lower profile in the transparent plastic of questionable utility and impossible to remove, the HannsG offers speakers, more usable than on the acer. It also provides a line output/headphone, incredibly missing the Acer (699€...). I regret a little the lack of a USB hub (powered, and usb3 on the acer, but I've just ordered a usb2, which will be the key with a piece of velcro... Small defect: unable to properly connect my dvi cable: apparently too thick. By contrast, the hdmi cable securely holds, which was not the case on the acer (major fault). In conclusion, a good purchase price unreal; if you have windows 8 and are willing to set up a few programs (firefox) until they are polished with a touch screen. I'll even say it again, the 3D on this screen is almost perfect!! The colors have a tendency to turn blue, but don't worry with the settings more problems. The fact of being able to move the screen from top to bottom and even set it at 90 degrees is simply brilliant. You can feel the quality and it is more useful than you believe. However, there remains a small problem.. three times nothing. I can't read my blueray3D, some say that it takes a HDMI 1. 4 cable (I have it) BUT apparently only the DVI cable allows the 3D! I am distraught.. if ever someone has a solution so that I can read my blueray3D (otherwise I would have bought it for nothing..) I'd be very recognize. In conclusion, if you want to play, then this screen is for you, otherwise go your way.. Until now, I was surprised by the contrast between the positive feedback on the French sites, including Amazon, and the mass of negative reviews available on the English-language sites, in particular in the United States. I had noticed some unpleasantness to this screen :- the price is high, but hey, it is the only 4k display 27" for the moment, to offer G-Sync and 3D compatibility. - connectivity is poor : only one HDMI connector, not possible in DisplayPort or the other, so no possibility of use by multiple computers. Apart from that, only a USB port, incoming and 2 ports out. Good, still happening. - flashes unpleasant in certain games, in particular when a still image is displayed more than a few seconds, as for example the loading screen of part in LoL. A defect which may probably be of the technical rationales, from what I've read, but hard to forgive for a product as expensive.
