Since the 9 Sepetembre I opened a ticket at SAV DLINK because from the beginning I had the same symptoms as some described already :- transfer rates are ridiculously low : 7 M**bits** per second (less than one Mb/s) on a Fast (100Mb/s) dedicated. (NB : I have since managed to climb painfully to 56Mbits/s. In fact, at the option of the reboots, the NAS negotiates poorly liaion Ethernet : it sometimes goes to 10Mb or Half Duplex...) - continued breakdown of shares : I had to redo it at least 20 times... and it was not enough. They disappear sometimes after a reboot, or after adding a share. or reappear sometimes in part... - problems of Admin password, which is sometimes taken, sometimes not... - a week of work to fill lost : aprèq 500G of data, I add a 2nd disk for RAID 1... the two are reformatted!!!! (NB : Support DLINK has confirmed to me recently that this is normal : we can't switch to RAID 1 and keep the existing data. There is a initial format mandatory...

  ) Unfortunately, nothing in the Doc! - I'm still taken with the Support Level 2 DLINK; that makes me do the 'laboratory' :. reset conf. plant of the NAS : since my two RAID drives are no longer recognized. all possible tests of dismounting disks, reboots, resets,.... 3 consecutive nights for one hour with the after-sales SERVICE. on the first day, the guys took home a NAS to test its operation! Justification : "because at home I have a PC and a MAC running MAC OS X"! I've even prepared a remote access : they have nothing able to arrange. reflashage of the NAS with an old Firmware in BETA version... for the case where it would make things better (!!! I believed to dream!!!) while the NAS had the last home DLINK.... and since I expect that I will have to find a new idea to test... - to this day, I have still not replaced the equipment, which is obviously defective; and I am, therefore, with a NAS failure, the belly opened up, since its purchase 2 months ago. - I was implying that we could replace it... but it's not sure... it depends of leaders... nani nana... And that in the event of replacement, I will send the hardware troubleshooting that when the mine failed has been received! For me, this material is a big disappointment : firmware beugué, instability, flagrant, performance, random, support very fast limited (on this hardware in any case) and not really understanding the client's situation.
